Needs SIGNIFICANT work
First off heads up poker is only one aspect of Texas Holdem. These stats are only relavent for heads up. For this app to have any significant value I would need to know the odds if I was playing against multiple players (5 or 9) for instance. Since I play heads up ONLY rarely (only at the end of a tournament — which I play rarely) this apps training is nearly useless. Sorry but try.
Nice Little App
This is great for anyone who understands poker.. or realizes that poker is a game of odds.
I just play it on Learn Mode and try to to see how good my guess-timates are.
So far its been fun. I wish in learn mode I could see the odds for all possible hands, straight, flush, full house, two pair etc.
ON SALE FOR 1 WEEEK! To promote the latest update, we've dropped the price. You'll love the new features that will have you learning Poker odds and hands far more efficiently than any of our competitors.
Texas Hold'em Poker Trainer
Are you new to the game and need to learn to recognize hands, or are you an experienced player and want to hone your analytical skills? This Poker Trainer will allow you to do both.
The Trainer simulates all possible games between you and one other opponent. But it doesn't tell you this information. Instead all you are shown is what you would normally see during a game – your hand and the common cards.
On each round of betting, you don't actually bet! Instead you judge your odds of winning or tying your opponent.
In the end, your score is based upon how good your judgement is. In order to increase your score, you need to improve your analytical skills. So, increasing your score means increasing your profits when you play with your friends!
Have fun!
If you have grown beyond the random cards that this game forces you to play, check out **Texas Hold'em Poker Shark** the sister app that puts you in charge to select your own cards and measure the odds against multiple opponents!
